David Katzenberg is attached to direct the thriller The Waiting for Warner Bros. The story mixes traditional narrative with a “found footage” approach and concerns two young, aspiring filmmakers who “create the illusion of a haunting on an unsuspecting neighbor,” says Variety.
Mark Bianculli and Jeff Richard penned the script; Warner Bros. picked it up last month.
Katzenberg will produce with partner Seth Grahame-Smith. The duo are forging good things at WB through their KatzSmith Productions banner.
Currently, they are developing a sequel to Beetlejuice.
