David Ellis, Schow Have a Bout of Bad Luck

From Lord of the Rings exec producer

Writer David Schow (The Hills Run Red) appears to be re-teaming with old pal Mark Ordesky.

The latter is executive producing Schow’s latest screenplay Bad Luck for production outfit Entertainment 7. The project is said to be in the vein of Final Destination and asks the question: “What if all our superstitions were real and deadly?” A group of skeptical college friends find out the hard way when superstitions come between them and those they love.

Who better to direct this than David Ellis, the man behind Final Destination 2 and The Final Destination.

Ordesky and Schow previously worked together on Critters 4 and Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. Ordesky also executive produced the Lord of the Rings trilogy. He’s shepherding another Ellis effort, Humpty Dumpty, a sci-fi horror film.
