Peter Bogdanovich will write and direct an adaptation of Kurt Andersen’s best-selling novel “Turn of the Century.”
Set in February 2000 in the bizarre world of the newly arrived millennium, the story centers on a Manhattan power couple and their three private school-reared kids.
Das Films’ Sriram Das is producing alongside Melanie Shanley. Bogdanovich’s writing partner, Parish Rahbar, will co-pen the script.
Filming is scheduled to start in New York in spring 2011.
