Just above is your first look at “Arrow” star Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, a hockey mask-wearing vigilante, that joins up with the turtles in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, which has also seen a slew of new actors joining the cast as of late.
Only recently Tyler Perry has joined the cast as Baxter Stockman, Brian Tee will play the new Shredder, Laura Linney has joined in a mystery role while Megan Fox is back as April O’Neil as is Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick.
As far as this Stockman character is concerned, Variety reports he’s a scientist responsible for the creation of the Mousers, machines meant to seek out and destroy sewer rats. The villainous Shredder learns of this invention and hires Stockman as his own scientist with the intent of using the Mousers to destroy Splinter, mentor to the Turtles.
Earth to Echo helmer Dave Green is stepping in for Jonathan Liebesman in the director’s chair while a plot for the film has yet to be revealed. However, it is said mutant pig and rhinoceros characters, Bebop and Rocksteady, will be joining the action.
The picture of Amell comes via Michael Bay’s Twitter account where he also previously revealed three shots of the vehicles that will be seen in the film, check those out below.
