A pair of Iron Man 2 posters debuted yesterday, the first being a brand new domestic poster that has everyone complaining it doesn’t feature Mickey Rourke after the earlier international poster was hated on for featuring floating heads. Considering this one is sans Rourke and also features floating heads I guess it is a double Wammy.
The second poster is a character poster featuring Scarlett Johansson as The Black Widow, and will be given out at WonderCon in San Francisco this weekend at Booth #24… or so I am told.
Iron Man 2, believe it or not, is just over a month away as it hits theaters on May 7. Will it be this summer’s biggest hit? The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is the only film I can see competing against it for box-office supremacy. New Moon made over $296 million while the first Iron Man made over $318 million. My money is on Iron Man 2, how about you?
