CloverfieldNews (gotta give it up to those guys for jumping on that name) has a possible teaser poster image for Cloverfield/1-18-08 with “MONSTROUS” written across the top and what they say is “1-18-08” in the bottom corner, but looking at the image I don’t see it. Also, who the hell can’t take a steady camera shot with their cell phone?
However, I can’t imagine this unamed project is going to end up being named Monstrous as that sounds far too corny for a movie that is generating so much attention. Why not just call it Oh No, A Monster? Just as dumb in my opinion.
In other Cloverfield/1-18-08 news there is online proof here that Paramount Pictures has registered the domain name themonstrousmovie.com as of June 7.
What’s it all mean? Who knows, maybe we will find out at Comic Con in the coming days.
