Gellar, Watanabe and Luna Take in ‘Air’

How does Sarah Michelle Gellar continue to find work? Hasn’t she proven in such films as Scooby-Doo and I Know What You Did Last Summer that she is only B-level eye candy at best? Yet she continues to find work. First it was with Richard Kelly for Southland Tales, then the videogame adaptation Alice (which she may actually be able to pull off) and now she is cast alongside Ken Watanabe and Diego Luna in The Air I Breathe for helmer Jieho Lee, whom I have never heard of.

The film is described as a crime drama based on an ancient Chinese proverb that breaks life down into four emotional cornerstones — happiness, pleasure, sorrow and love.

The film is scheduled to begin shooting in Mexico City in January.
