New Line Cinema has brought online the studio’s 5-minute extended preview for The Golden Compass that was shown at the San Diego Comic-Con convention on Friday. Based on author Philip Pullman’s bestselling and award-winning novel, the film was written and directed by Chris Weitz. Opening December 7, it stars Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig, Sam Elliott, Eva Green and Dakota Blue Richards.
