The Kingpin actor’s statement follows a plethora of speculation that began when co-star Royce Johnson, who plays Chief Detective Brett Mahoney, shared cast photos. While Johnson’s post hinted strongly at a celebration, D’Onofrio’s words now make it official.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 operates under showrunner Dario Scardapane, with Charlie Cox once again leading as Matt Murdock. The production pace has been notably swift. Back in June, action director Philip J. Silvera revealed he was already deep in preparation.
He described the show’s ambitious goal as delivering a “feature film on a TV timeframe,” emphasizing fight sequences driven by character emotion rather than just physical combat.
