When Is Minions & Monsters’ Digital & Streaming Release Date?

Minions & Monsters is now playing in theaters worldwide. Fans already want to know when it will arrive at home. While Universal Pictures and Illumination haven’t confirmed any dates yet, past releases from the studios offer a strong clue.

When could Minions & Monsters get its digital release date?

Right now, Minions & Monsters is only playing in theaters. Universal Pictures and Illumination have not announced a digital release date yet. However, previous Illumination movies followed a familiar pattern. Most arrived on digital platforms after 30 to 45 days.

If Minions & Monsters follows that same schedule, it could release digitally between late July and mid-August 2026. The streaming release may take a little longer. The movie is expected to arrive on Peacock first. Universal usually puts out its animated films there.

Like other Universal Pictures and Illumination movies, Minions & Monsters is expected to stream first on Peacock. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie followed a similar release schedule before arriving on the platform.

Nothing has been officially confirmed by Universal Pictures yet. The studio could still announce different release dates later. The latest movie takes the Minions into 1920s Hollywood. They dream about becoming silent movie stars as complete chaos quickly follows them everywhere.

The franchise remains one of animation’s biggest successes. Together, the Despicable Me and Minions movies earned over $5 billion worldwide. The latest movie earned an estimated $13.75 million on its opening day.

Internationally, the movie has already crossed $10 million. The movie reportedly cost around $85 million to make. The voice cast includes Allison Janney, Christoph Waltz, Jeff Bridges, Jesse Eisenberg and Zoey Deutch.

For now, theaters remain the only place to watch it. Based on previous release patterns, a streaming release could follow in the coming months. The movie also currently holds an 88% Rotten Tomatoes score.
