One of Disney+‘s critically acclaimed Marvel TV shows has finally returned with an all-new installment. Beginning today, the first three episodes of X-Men ’97 are officially available to stream on Disney+. New episodes will drop every Wednesday until its finale on August 12.

In X-Men ’97 Season 2, the titular team is scattered across different periods in time, where each side will be facing a different version of En Sabah Nur/Apocalypse. So far, the new season has already received a perfect Tomatometer rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The hit superhero animated show features the voices of Ray Chase as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale as Jean Grey, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, Ross Marquand as Professor X, JP Karliak as Morph, Lenore Zann as Rogue, George Buza as Beast, AJ LoCascio as Gambit, Holly Chou as Jubilee, Isaac Robinson-Smith as Bishop, Matthew Waterson as Magneto, Adrian Hough as Nightcrawler, Theo James as Bastion, Chris Potter as Nathan Summers/ Cable and more.
“Season 2 continues with the heroic mutant team of X-Men, divided and thrown across different eras in time as they struggle to navigate their return home. Meanwhile, back in the 1990s, suspicious foes and new strains of mutant intolerance are on the rise in the wake of the X-Men’s absence,” reads the new logline.
X-Men ’97 is executive-produced by Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt, Julia Lewald, Eric Lewald, Larry Houston, and Beau DeMayo. The supervising producer is Jake Castorena. Episodes for Season 2 were written by JB Ballard, Beau DeMayo, Bailey Moore, Antony Sellitti, Brian Ford Sullivan, and Mariah Wilson, with Emmett Yonemura and Chase Conley serving as directors.
