What do we know about the new Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour Netflix TV show?

Netflix is developing a new spy drama series starring Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour. The series, created by Emmy-winning Adolescence writer Jack Thorne, has not yet received a title.

Speaking more of Netflix’s upcoming spy TV show, it will see the Stranger Things-fame Brown and Harbour play an estranged daughter and father. According to the official synopsis for the untitled series, “disgraced FBI agent turned security expert Matt Wolfe (Harbour) is drawn back into the world he left behind when his estranged daughter, Rebecca (Brown) — now an FBI agent determined to follow in his footsteps — vanishes on a mission, forcing him to return to a field that has evolved beyond him.”

“We are delighted to bring this spy drama to life with an extraordinary group of talent we’ve been fortunate to collaborate with before,” said Jinny Howe, Netflix’s Head of Scripted Series for the U.S. and Canada.

Howe added, “Jack Thorne’s ability to find the deeply human story inside a thriller is unmatched, and watching Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour reunite — this time as estranged father and daughter on opposite sides of a crisis — is something audiences are going to love. A24 is the perfect partner to bring this story to our members around the world.”

Thorne will also serve as the executive producer alongside Brown and Harbour. Jake Bongiovi, Robert Brown, Joe Hipps, Patrick McDonald, and KC Wenson will also serve as the executive producers.

Brown will soon appear in the third installment of her Enola Holmes movie franchise alongside Henry Cavill. As for Harbour, he was most recently seen in HBO Max’s dark comedy series DTF St. Louis. He will next appear in the MCU’s highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday, where he will reprise the role of Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian.

The newly announced series further strengthens Netflix’s upcoming slate. Other upcoming titles include BEEF Season 2, Man on Fire, Nemesis, East of Eden, and The Altruists.

Brown and Harbour’s new spy thriller series has yet to receive an official release window.
