A 2026 sci-fi comedy movie starring Juno Temple, which became a box office flop during its theatrical run, has found a new life on streaming. Following its OTT debut, it managed to top the charts, outperforming other films.
Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die tops Hulu charts
As of June 23, Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die is the #1 movie on Hulu in the United States, as per FlixPatrol. Accordingly, it outranks all other films on the top 10 list. Toy Story has secured the #2 spot, while Return to Silent Hill comes behind at #3.
Others listed are Send Help (#4), Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant (#5), Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (#6), Underworld: Blood Wars (#7), Jumanji: The Next Level (#8), Get Hard (#9), and The Secret Life of Pets 2 (#10).
Furthermore, the Sam Rockwell-starrer is also #1 in the overall category, which includes features and television shows. Coming in at second place behind it is Million Dollar Nannies, while 20/20 rests at the third spot.
Helmed by Gore Verbinski, Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die marks his first directorial effort in around a decade, following 2016’s A Cure for Wellness. It originally premiered at Fantastic Fest on September 24, 2025, before releasing theatrically on February 13.
Following its release, it underperformed commercially, raking in only roughly $9 million globally and falling short of its estimated $20 million production budget (via The Numbers).
Despite this, it performed rather well critically, as indicated in its strong scores on review aggregators. On Rotten Tomatoes, it displays a “certified fresh” critical approval rating of 81% and a slightly superior audience score of 85%. Meanwhile, Metacritic has assigned it “generally favorable” ratings — a Metascore of 66 and a user score of 7.0.
Sam Rockwell stars as a man from the future who travels to the past and recruits patrons of a Los Angeles diner to help him fight a rogue artificial intelligence. Juno Temple appears in a supporting role alongside Haley Lu Richardson, Michael Peña, Zazie Beetz, Asim Chaudhry, and Tom Taylor.
