General Hospital Spoilers Today: [Spoiler] Replaces Drew in Congress in Feb. 26 Recap

It was a day of major twists in Port Charles, and here’s a recap and spoilers of General Hospital’s February 26 episode to catch you up on them. The episode featured Trina getting an unexpected visitor, Sidwell making a shocking confession to Drew, and Laura revealing the new Congress representative.

Spoilers for what happened on General Hospital on February 26, 2026

A bond to fix

While Kai confides his worries about his job to Trina, she realizes that she accidentally dialed Portia. She immediately hangs up, which her mother notices. At the hospital, Isaiah comforts her when Portia feels bad about her relationship with Trina.

Later, Isaiah arrives at Trina’s home in an attempt to help repair the mother-daughter rift. The two discuss Portia’s actions, but he soon leaves, knowing that their conversation isn’t helping. However, after Isaiah left, she contemplates his words and looks at her mother’s number on her phone.

Alexis prepares for Congress

Alexis informs Diane about accepting Laura’s offer and that it will be made public later in the day. Diane feels happy for her friend and asks her to inform Sonny as well. Meanwhile, Sonny and Jason are discussing Cullum and how to take him down. Jason reveals that Lucas will help get Britt’s medicine, but Sonny doesn’t like the idea.

At that moment, Sonny gets a call from Alexis, telling him about the offer. After hanging up, Sonny updates Jason and says that she is making a mistake because Laura’s orders come from Sidwell, which she may not like.

The messenger

Ezra arrives at Laura’s office with Sidwell’s message to appoint Willow as the new representative. She laughs at his advice, but he says that it may not be wise to go against Sidwell’s orders.

Sidwell’s confession

Sidwell arrives at Drew’s house to persuade Willow to accept the position. Their conversation is interrupted when Nina arrives to do the same. Willow finally agrees, suits up, and leaves for the press meeting.

Meanwhile, Sidwell visits Drew in his room. Drew tries to ask for help by blinking SOS to him. Sidwell notices it and tells him that it’s a waste of effort. He then confesses that he was the one who gave Willow the medicines that put him in a locked-in state. Sidwell further adds that he had no other option because of Drew’s growing uncertainty and damaging public reputation.

The new Congressperson is…

Diane informs Alexis that Laura is about to make the announcement. Alexis feels confused since the press meet wasn’t until later in the day, and opens her laptop to watch the stream. Meanwhile, Sidwell holds up his phone so that Drew can watch the announcement.

At the press conference, Laura announces that Willow will be taking over Drew’s position in Congress. Everyone watches the announcement in shock.
