The viewers are already curious about the future of the new Prime Video’s revenge thriller, Malice. The viewers are wondering whether Malice will return for Season 2 or if the series will end after just one season.
Here’s everything we know so far about the series renewal status.
Has Prime Video canceled Malice or renewed it for Season 2?
As of now, Prime Video has neither canceled nor renewed Malice. The series premieres on Friday, November 14, and all six episodes will be available simultaneously.
After the release of Malice Season 1 and the streaming numbers are analyzed, Prime Video will decide whether to renew it for a second season.
The series stars Jack Whitehall as Adam, a charming nanny. He gets close to the wealthy Tanner family while they’re on vacation in Greece, when their former nanny suddenly becomes seriously ill. Adam slips deeper into their lives, and his dark intentions begin to surface.
Back in London, Adam starts manipulating Jamie Tanner, played by David Duchovny, and Nat Tanner, played by Carice van Houten, turning them against each other while plotting to destroy the entire family.
As people begin digging into Adam Healey’s past, they enter a dangerous web of lies and obsession. The big question becomes whether Jamie will uncover Adam’s true motives before it’s too late.
In an interview with TV Insider, Jack Whitehall said the series will showcase a side of him that his fans have never seen before. “I’ve worked a lot in the comedy space, but I’ve never had the opportunity to sort of flex those muscles as an actor and play a very different part in a very different type of show and new genre to me. I leapt at the opportunity to get to have this opportunity to try something so different.”
