What happens in The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 8’s ending?

The plot of The Terminal List: The Dark Wolf Episode 8 begins three months after the events of the penultimate episode. At the start of the episode, Haverford is free, and Cyrus Rahimi is on the way to becoming Iran’s Foreign Minister. Meanwhile, Edwards’ team remains under investigation for arming Iran with nuclear weapons.

Edwards continues to work alone in the forest where he is hiding out. Soon after this, the episode takes an action-packed turn and sees Edwards face off against numerous waves of attackers. The finale soon introduces James Reece (Chris Pratt) in person, who comes in to save the day. Mo had reached out to him, which led him to come and help.

After reintroducing Reece, the series moves towards Edwards’s revenge plot. Edwards, Mo, Landry, and Tal move in on their targets, and ultimately Edwards confronts Haverford.

Haverford reveals his plan to trigger a full-scale nuclear war as revenge for America’s refusal to act against Iran. Edwards ultimately does not kill Haverford and has him arrested instead. After this, Edwards enlists with the CIA. This leads directly into the events of The Terminal List.
