Jack Carr reveals The Terminal List Season 2 status, teases future
Jack Carr has shared an update on The Terminal List Season 2 while teasing possible future expansions of the franchise. In a post on X, the author confirmed that the upcoming season has finished filming and is currently in post production. He wrote that the team is “in post-production editing the final episode” and added that the season “should drop later this year.”
The second season continues the story of James Reece and is based on Carr’s novel True Believer. According to Carr, the new chapter follows the character on “a journey of violent redemption across the globe.” Production on the new season involved international filming locations and a large production team working across several countries.
Carr also described the wider production effort surrounding the franchise. He said filming for The Terminal List Season 2 and the prequel series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf took place in Hungary, Croatia, South Africa, Canada, and Morocco. The projects were produced with what Carr described as an “incredible cast and crew.”
Earlier reporting also outlined the production timeline for the second season. Chris Pratt confirmed on the Happy Sad Confused podcast that the series had completed filming and moved into post production, stating, “We’re done with Season 2. We’re in post right now. We’ve locked six of eight episodes.” Production wrapped in October 2025 after filming began in spring that year.
Season 2 will feature eight episodes and will continue expanding the television adaptation of Jack Carr’s novels. Amazon previously released the prequel series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, which concluded in September 2025. Carr also hinted at projects, asking whether there could be “an adaptation of SAVAGE SON,” “a second season of DARK WOLF,” or “an adaptation of CRY HAVOC.”
