After the first seven episodes slowly but surely built towards it, The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 episode 8 finally brought forth the day of Belly and Jeremiah’s wedding. The previous episode showed some hope to Conrad fans about Belly not going through with the wedding, but things turned out very differently by the end of the episode.
So, did Belly go through with her wedding, or did she leave Jeremiah for Conrad at the last possible chance?

Does Belly leave Jeremiah for Conrad in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Episode 8?
After the events that transpired between Conrad and Belly in the seventh episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty, the eighth episode opened with Conrad walking in on Belly the next morning and apologizing for the things he had said the previous night. Belly tells him he has not changed at all and even asks him not to attend her wedding.
Their conversation gets heated up quickly, and both of them call each other heartless before Conrad once again falls back into the pattern and tells her that he loves her. On the outside, Belly tells Conrad that she felt nothing during their close encounters, but in her inner monologue, she admits that she could not let go of either Jeremiah or Conrad.
After a tense rehearsal dinner, Belly finally tells Jeremiah about Conrad’s confession the night before their wedding.
This snowballs into a massive event. No one can find Jeremiah the next morning. Conrad eventually finds him, but things get very heated between the two, and Jeremiah even punches him.
At the wedding, Conrad comes and promises not to see Belly for a long time to come, but Jeremiah turns up and confronts Belly. He tells her how he knows she is in love with Conrad. After the intense confrontation, Belly finally admits that she has a place for Conrad in her heart, but she chose Jeremiah. This is not enough for the groom, and he breaks off the engagement and walks away.
So, Jeremiah and Belly do not end up married in the eighth episode. But she did not leave Jeremiah for Conrad either. Rather, things remain very complicated at the moment, and the future episodes of the show may be able to give a better glimpse at it.
