General Hospital fans have been rallying for the return of Prince Nikolas Cassadine for quite a while now. But it seems that their calls have grown much louder in recent weeks, especially after Adam Huss, who recently played the role, attended a GH fan event.
Fans want Prince Nikolas to escape prison in General Hospital
Prince Nikolas is arguably one of the most intriguing characters in the history of General Hospital. The character originally debuted on the show in 1996. Since then, it has been portrayed by various actors, the most recent permanent actor being Marcus Coloma, who took over the role in 2019.
Adam Huss temporarily took over the role multiple times during Coloma’s tenure but was cast as Nikolas as a regular after Coloma’s exit in 2023. Throughout the changes and replacements, fans have never stopped calling for the return of Prince Nikolas.
As of the most recent development with the character, General Hospital sent Prince Nikolas to prison.
But the eagerness for Nikolas’ return to General Hospital was quite evident in the recent GH fan event at Fan Club Weekend, where fans flocked to Huss. The actor later posted a video from the event, and it was bombarded with comments, asking him to return as Prince Nikoas.
One user wrote, “We miss you onscreen and I enjoy you as Nikolas and…we want you back and for him to get Nik out of prison! I’m ready for my Cassadines to return!!!” Another stated, “You rock as Nicolas! Hope you do get to come back!!” Further, a fan wrote, “I’m hoping to see you on GH someday soon. You really did such an amazing job.” One more user echoed a similar sentiment and wrote, “You are PERFECT as Nikolas!!! I really hope that @generalhospitalabc reads the comments here!!!”
All this goes to show how fans are desperate for Prince Nikolas’ return to General Hospital. Perhaps the show will decide to bring him back, seeing this amount of enthusiasm.
