So, will Better Late Than Single return with a second season? Here’s everything we know so far.
Is Better Late Than Single Season 2 canceled or renewed by Netflix?
Netflix has yet to give an official update regarding Better Late Than Single Season 2. However, the creators remain hopeful that the show will return.
Despite being reminiscent of the global hit Single’s Inferno, Better Late Than Single failed to match the global success of the latter. However, the show did generate a significant following in the East, including South Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore. Since Better Late Than Single made it to the charts in these countries, there is a possibility of its renewal.
Furthermore, the creators of the show, Wook-hyung, Kim No-eun, and Won Seung-jae, have given some promising updates regarding Season 2. Speaking with The Korea Herald, the creators confirmed, “If given the opportunity, we would gratefully make it.”
No-eun went on to reflect on how the show has been relatable to so many fans. He added, “We were all first-time daters once. Because it’s something everyone has experienced, it naturally creates empathy and deep emotional immersion. I think the cast’s feelings came through clearly.”
So, although Netflix has not officially greenlit Better Late Than Single for a second season, the positive remarks from the creators hint at a possible renewal. As of now, the wait continues for a confirmation from Netflix.
