‘Taylor Swift So High School’ Trend Explained Amid Travis Kelce Revealing His Favorite Song

Travis Kelce has officially crowned “So High School” as his new favorite Taylor Swift song, sending Swifties into a frenzy over the track’s romantic ties to the couple’s relationship. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who previously praised “Blank Space” as an “unbelievable” track, made the revelation during a recent interview.

The phrase “Taylor Swift so high school” has taken over the internet after Travis Kelce shared that “So High School” now tops his playlist. At Tight End University, a football training camp he co-hosts, Kelce paused thoughtfully before shyly admitting, “I guess ‘So High School?’” When asked to sing a lyric, he laughed it off, saying, “No, I’m nervous!” a reaction that only made fans love the moment more.

Swifties instantly connected the dots. “So High School,” from The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology, carries unmistakable references to Kelce himself — from lines about knowing “how to ball” to callbacks from a playful interview where he once joked about marrying Swift. Naturally, Swift’s fans made the song trend all over again.

But Kelce wasn’t alone in showing love for Taylor’s music. Fellow NFL stars Rob Gronkowski and George Kittle also chimed in with their favorites. Gronk enthusiastically danced to “Shake It Off,” while Kittle praised “Love Story” as his go-to pick.

The trend caught extra fire when Kelce and Swift showed up hand in hand at the Tight End University welcome party in Nashville. The two were all smiles and even shared a kiss on the red carpet.

Swift later shocked fans by hopping on stage at the “Tight Ends & Friends” concert and joining Kane Brown to perform “Shake It Off.” The surprise performance marked her first since reclaiming her entire music catalog. As Swift said on stage, “We would like to dedicate this to our favorite players who are going to play — and these are the tight ends” (via Us Weekly).
