The Last of Us Season 2: What Does the ‘Feel Her Love’ Message Mean?

Are you curious to know the meaning of the “Feel Her Love” message in The Last of Us Season 2, Episode 4? Titled “Day One,” the episode focuses on Seattle’s FEDRA facing a surprising enemy in 2018. After 10 years, Dina and Ellie get embroiled in a violent fight between fanatical Seraphites and a brutal militia. During this, Ellie follows a blood trail, leading her to a wall painted in blood with a message on it. What did the message say and mean? Here are all the details.

The ‘Feel Her Love’ message in The Last of Us Season 2 Episode 4, explained

Seraphites, a religious group, use this phrase, “Feel Her Love.” When their prophet established their religion, it was all about peace, love, and togetherness. However, the Seraphites’ latest move of writing this message with the enemy’s blood on the wall showcases how they have been distracted from their religious roots and have turned to violent ways.

In Episode 4, Ellie and Dina arrive in Seattle and begin their search for Abby. They initially seek the Washington Liberation Front and spot its symbol on a TV station. They go inside, only to find the dead bodies of WLF members lying on the floor. Horrified, they realize they have been ritualistically killed by the Seraphites. At the scene, they also come across a message on the wall, which reads “Feel Her Love.”

This showcased how a once peaceful message has been modified by the elders into a twisted one to justify their violence, hate, cruelty, and control. It’s one of the phrases they commonly use. One of the quotes they also use is “May she guide you.” These short phrases are typically used among Seraphites to spread love and kindness among members. However, the latest attempt has changed one of their phrases’ meanings entirely.
