Le Sserafim’s Kazuha and &Team K’s Dating Rumour Gets Hybe’s Response

Le Sserafim’s Kazuha and &Team star K were entangled in a dating rumor. The initial report claimed that the star duo had been dating for a while and had recently gone to a restaurant. Later, Le Sserafim’s agency explained the truth behind the reports.

Nakamura Kazuha debuted in K-pop with Le Sserafim in 2022 with the mini album Fearless. The former ballet dancer instantly became famous, showing off her powerful moves, which became an instrumental part of Le Sserafim’s style.

On the other hand, &Team K, aka Koga Yūdai, debuted with the K-pop act in December of 2022. The 26-year-old K-pop rookie star previously joined the reality show I-Land and survived till the finale. However, he did not make it to the final lineup, which formed the K-pop act Enhypen.

Le Sserafim Kazuha and K’s dating rumor explored

Le Sserafim‘s agency, Source Music, denied the dating rumors of Kazuha with &Team’s K. Initially, a report quoted the label’s response saying the label has stated that Kazuha and K went out to eat as friends. Later, Source Music clarified: “The dating rumors, specifically those involving Kazuha and K, are unfounded.”

While dating is still somewhat treated as a taboo topic for K-pop idols, international fans welcome many fresh faces in the Korean entertainment industry who have normalized dating and urged fans to respect their privacy.

Recently, Aespa’s Karina was candid about seeing Lee Jae Wook. While their relationship only lasted five weeks, fans welcomed the open conversations surrounding the dating news. Another celebrity couple who dated publicly before splitting up was Blackpink star Jisoo and K-drama heartthrob Ahn Bo Hyun.

K-pop idols often refrain from accepting dating news because of their strict contact with music agencies. K-pop agencies are frequently seen “asking for fans’ understanding” or even apologizing when news of their artists’ dating surfaced.

Aespa’s Karina shared a handwritten letter to apologize to fans about her dating news. She wrote: “I know very well how disappointed the MYs (Aespa fans) who have supported me up until now must be, and I also know that they are feeling upset while thinking back on the things we’ve said to one another. I feel even more sorry because I, too, understand those feelings all too well.”

Karina and Lee Jae Wook split up after dating for a month. But fans hope more K-pop idols can embrace their public lives openly and not feel the need to apologize for dating.
