Physical: 100 Season 2 – Underground featured 100 physically and mentally fit contestants competing against each other in several quests. The contestants participated individually and in teams to advance in the competition. Ultimately, Amotti beat his fellow three opponents and the rest of the contestants to win.

Physical: 100 Season 2 – Underground: Amotti wins the title after final battle against Hong Beom-Seok

The final episode of Physical: 100 Season 2 – Underground began with the final four contestants, Amotti, Hong Beom-Seok, Andre Jin, and Justin Harvey, reflecting on their journey in the competition. While some talked about the toughest quests so far, others were curious to find out what their final challenge would be. The finalists shared some fun banter before heading into the showdown.

The final quest took place in three rounds, with each round comprising a different challenge. For the first round, ropes fell in front of the finalists, surprising them and other contestants who cheered them on. The finalists had to hold onto their torsos hanging from the ropes until the end. The first contestant to drop their torso would be eliminated. The weight of their torsos was proportional to their body weight.

All four finalists adopted different techniques to hold onto the rope and their torso. While some focused on putting pressure on their bodies, others held the rope tight with their arms. Eventually, Justin Harvey couldn’t hold the rope any longer and let go. He became the first finalist to be eliminated from the competition.

For the second round of Physical: 100 Season 2 – Underground, the remaining three finalists—Amotti, Hong Beom-Seok, and Andre Jin—had to participate in “Infinite Squats.” They had to do squats at the sound of the whistle. Gradually, the weights in the container over the machines increased.

The finalists went strong up until the 250 kg mark. Being a cross fitter, Amotti gained an advantage, while Beom-Seok was surprised at how well he could handle the weights. Meanwhile, Andre Jin couldn’t lift the machine with the weight anymore. His body gave up, and he had to leave.

Amotti and Hong Beom-Seok battled against each other in the final round. The two finalists had to hold on to each end of a massive pole and push simultaneously. The contestant to knock over their post would win. Meanwhile, the final round was the best of three matches. Although Beom-Seok won the first round, Amotti utilized technique in his footing and pushed the pole as hard as he could in the rest of the two rounds. In the final round, Amotti successfully managed to overpower his opponent, getting him the win.

After his win, Amotti said, “Ever since I chose to come here and give Physical: 100 a go, my goal was to be my absolute best and to do so in every moment so I wouldn’t leave with any regrets. I think my determination to see things through to the very end and to never give up is ultimately what led me to where I am right now.” He ended his ment by thanking his fellow contestants in the competition.

All episodes of Physical: 100 Seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream on Netflix.
