Jazz for Two Episode 2 Recap: Did Jee Ho-Geun Hurt Kim Jinkwon in New Korean BL Drama?

Jazz for Two Episode 2 aired on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, after the first episode’s premiere. The high school romance Korean BL drama stars Newkidd’s Kim Jinkwon and Jee Ho-Geun in the lead roles.

In episode 1, Yoon Seo-Hoon (Kim Jinkwon) and Han Tae-Yi’s (Jee Ho-Geun) first encounter turned out to be a sour experience. The latter threatened the new student after Tae-Yi saw him playing jazz music on the piano. He became furious because Seo-Hoon’s piano skills reminded him of his late brother. The episode ended with the two finding out that they are in the same class.

Jazz for Two episode 2 begins with Seo-Hoon being shocked when he sees Tae-Yi in his class. He wonders why Tae-Yi always gives him a cold look. Later, he sneaks into the old music room to practice jazz music and gets into a heated argument with Tae-Yi.

Jazz for Two Episode 2 spoilers: Jee Ho-Geun & Kim Jinkwon’s scuffle ends in a heart-fluttering moment

In Jazz for Two episode 2, Seo-Hoon’s (Jinkwon) first day at school turns out to be eventful. He befriends Seo Do-Yoon (Omega X’s Hangyeom), who gives him a tour of the school. When Seo-Hoon checks out the music room, it looks full. So he asks Da-Yeol about the old music room.

Da-Yeol mentions that it is haunted, making Seo-Hoon wonder if it is true or not. Despite the fear, he sneaks into the “haunted” music room. The reason for such desperation is Seo-Hoon’s love for playing jazz. At home, his strict father wants him to learn classical piano, and at school, the regular music room is booked for at least a month. Hence, Seo-Hoon is left with no other option.

Meanwhile, Seo-Hoon’s presence has slowly begun to bother Tae-Yi (Jee Ho-Geun). After school, the latter goes to the music room to avoid Song Joo-Ha’s (Kim Jeong-Ha) sister. When Tae-Yi sees Seo-Hoon playing the piano, he gets angry. In the previous episode, he warned Seo-Hoon not to play in the old music room.

Tae-Yi threatens him again, and this time, he even tries to hurt him. The reason for his anger is that Seo-Hoon reminds him of his late brother. During their scuffle, Seo-Hoon trips, and Tae-Yi tries to catch him. The two end up falling on the ground with Seo-Hoon on top of him. They lock eyes, creating a heart-fluttering moment.

Joo-Ha sees them and teases the two. He finds out that Seo-Hoon is a new student and plans to have fun with him. Also, Joo-Ha warns Tae-Yi not to hurt his sister. On the other hand, Joo-Ha seems to have an impact on Da-Yeol as the latter gets nervous around him.

Jazz for Two Episode 2 ending: Is Jee Ho-Geun jealous of Kim Jinkwon & Kim Jung-Ha’s closeness?

In Jazz for Two episode 2, Seo-Hoon and Tae-Yi’s scuffle has hurt the former’s hand. The next day, Seo-Hoon confronts Tae-Yi to clear the air. Surprisingly, the latter doesn’t stop Seo-Hoon from playing piano in the old room, and he asks the new student to play a song for him.

When Seo-Hoon plays the piano, Tae-Yi has flashbacks of his late brother. He finds the situation confusing as Seo-Hoon’s talent resembles his brother’s piano skills. At the time, he tells Seo-Hoon that he hates his music. But later, he breaks down at his house and mentions he wants to listen to Seo-Hoon’s music more.

The next morning, Tae-Yi is bothered by Seo-Hoon’s absence from the class. While leaving the school, he hears music coming out of the old music room. When he goes there, he can hear Seo-Hoon’s voice asking someone to stop as he is hurting. Tae-Yi opens the door and sees Joo-Ha holding Seo-Hoon closer to him. Jazz for Two episode 2 ends with Tae-Yi being jealous.
