MBN K-Drama The Crown Prince Has Disappeared Episode 1 Gets New Release Date

The premiere of MBN’s weekend mini-series The Crown Prince Has Disappeared has been postponed. This historical K-drama stars EXO‘s Suho. Furthermore, this is the first time Suho will play a historical character. The writers of this Kim Jin-Man’s directorial drama are Kim Ji Soo and Park Chul. The initial debut date of this drama was March 9, 2024.

The Crown Prince Has Disappeared is a romantic comedy set in the Joseon era. The storyline follows Crown Prince Lee Geon (Suho), who gets kidnapped by a woman, Choi Myung Yoo (Hong Ye Ji), who is destined to be his wife. However, in the journey, love blossoms between them, and what happens next is the gist of this drama. It is a spin-off of ‘Bossam: Steal the Fate.’

Ever since the release of its teasers, The Crown Prince Has Disappeared has been in the news creating quite a buzz among viewers.

The K-drama was previously slated to release on March 9, 2024. But now, it will air from April 13, 2024. According to Xsportsnews, the production team has shared that to deliver a better-crafted drama, they have pushed the release date of The Crown Prince Has Disappeared by five weeks.

Furthermore, the production company of the drama, Jidam Studio, stated, “In order to deliver a well-developed and flawless story, we decided to delay the premiere of ‘Missing Crown Prince.’ After thorough preparations, we will greet you with a production of utmost quality and a meticulously crafted story. Please anticipate the premiere of ‘Missing Crown Prince’ on April 13 at 9:40 p.m. KST.”

Additionally, apart from Suho and Hong Ye-Ji, The Crown Prince Has Disappeared also features Kim Min-Gyu as Prince Doseon, the younger brother of the Crown Prince, and Kim Joo-Hun as Choi Myung Yoo’s father in the drama.
