Astro Note Anime Release Window Announced by Crunchyroll at Comic Con Experience

In a thrilling revelation at the Comic-Con Experience event, Astro Note, an original science fiction comedy anime, was announced. Crunchyroll unwrapped the curtain on the anime and is gearing up to broadcast it across a vast global landscape. The regions where the anime will premiere include North America, Central America, Europe, and Africa, among others. 

The anime features a stellar cast, including Sōma Saitō as Takuni Miyasaki and Maaya Uchida as Mira Gotokuji. Moreover, at the helm of this animated series is the critically acclaimed Shinji Takamatsu, renowned for his directorial prowess in works like ‘Gintama’ and ‘School Rumble.’ Haruki Kasugamori is taking charge of directing duties alongside Takamatsu at Telecom Animation Film. The scriptwriting is crafted by Kimiko Ueno, who has also penned ‘The Royal Tutor’ and ‘Super Shiro.’

The anime is set to debut in April 2024 and Crunchyroll will come to rescue to broadcast it. As such, it describes the anime in the following manner:

“Takumi, a gifted chef, was just let go from his job. He lands a gig at an old boarding house called Astro-sou, but hesitates to accept after learning he must also live there full-time. That is until he meets the beautiful and charming caretaker, Mira, and he’s sold. The two begin to work together and their connection deepens. But Mira has a secret: she isn’t from this world!”

The anime’s visual tapestry is designed by Eisaku Kubonouchi, and Maho Aoki expertly translates these designs into animated reality. Moreover, the artistry is complemented by the creative vision of Reiji Kasuga who serves as the art director. Finally, Kōhei Munemoto is at the helm of music composition at Lantis. 

As Crunchyroll forays into the universe of original content, this anime stands as an exciting addition to their diverse collection. Additionally, the anime promises a fusion of science fiction, comedy, and an engaging storyline. With that, anime enthusiasts certainly seem to be in for a treat!
