L.A. Law: All 8 Seasons Coming to Hulu Next Month

NBC’s classic legal drama L.A. Law — which ran from 1986 to 1994 for eight seasons — will have a new lease on life when it premieres on Hulu on November 3. All seasons have been remastered in high definition.

Taking Viewers Inside the Highly Competitive Law Firms of Los Angeles

Created by Steven Bochco and Terry Louise Fisher, the Emmy Award-winning television series takes viewers inside Los Angeles’ major law firms (McKenzie, Brackman, Chaney, and Kuzak) and the personal and professional lives of their respective competitive attorneys.

According to Hulu, the show’s remastered version will also include its original commercially licensed music, which is all preserved and upgraded. The synopsis for L.A. Law reads: “L.A. Law is a one-hour drama detailing the intertwined personal and private lives of the employees of Los Angeles law firm McKenzie, Brackman, Chaney & Kuzak.”

The show, which debuted to critical acclaim, received various accolades from different major award-giving bodies, receiving a Primetime Emmy, Golden Globe, People’s Choice Award, NAACP Image Award, Directors Guild of America Award, and GLAAD Media Award. 

Produced by Steven Bochco Productions and 20th Television, the show stars Harry Hamlin as Michael Kuzak, Corbin Bernsen as Arnie Becker, Jill Eikenberry as Ann Kelsey, Alan Rachins as Douglas Brackman Jr., Michele Greene as Abby Perkins, Jimmy Smits as Victor Sifuentes, Blair Underwood as Jonathan Rollins, and Susan Dey as Grace van Owen.

L.A. Law’s ensemble cast also includes Michael Tucker as Stuart Markowitz, Richard Dysart as Leland McKenzie, Susan Ruttan as Roxanne Melman, Larry Drake as Benny Stulwicz, Amanda Donohoe as Cara Jean Lamb, John Spencer as Tommy Mullaney, Cecil Hoffman as Zoey Clemmons, Sheila Kelley as Gwen Taylor, and Conchata Ferrell as Susan Bloom, among others.

All eight seasons of L.A. Law are also available on Prime Video.
