Daredevil: Born Again: Has It Been Canceled or Is It Still Coming Out?

Fans are worried that Daredevil: Born Again has been canceled. Here is the latest information on whether the new Daredevil TV show has been cancelled or if it is still coming out on Disney Plus.

Has Daredevil: Born Again been canceled?

No, Daredevil: Born Again has not been canceled. It has just been significantly delayed due to a change in its creative approach.

According to a new report, Disney/Marvel let go of Born Again’s writers, Chris Ord and Matt Corman, in September.

The report goes on to say that, after Daredevil: Born Again halted its filming due to the WGA strike, Disney/Marvel reviewed its less than half of the 18 episodes that had been shot. Marvel’s CCO concluded that the series wasn’t good enough and let go of the entire creative team behind the show. However, the series has not been canceled.

Marvel is reportedly looking to hire new writers and directors to give the series a creative reboot. The footage that has been shot till now may or may not be reused, but the show will still undergo a lot of reworks, leading to a major delay in its release. Hence, it is now likely for Daredevil: Born Again to arrive as a part of Phase 6.

Scoopers and industry insiders like CanWeGetSomeToast claim that Daredevil: Born Again is moving away from Foggy and Karen. The series would have begun by telling us that Matt Murdock hasn’t been Daredevil for a year because he couldn’t prevent Foggy’s death.

Furthermore, Grace Randolph stated that Matt Murdock wouldn’t have suited up until the fourth episode. As a result, Disney/Marvel have reportedly decided to take a different approach, which is expected to significantly delay the project.
