Amazon Prime Video Schedule October 16-22: New TV Shows & Movies Being Added

Amazon Prime Video‘s new TV and movie releases for October 16-22 include the anticipated third season of Upload, Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron’s Long Shot, and Polite Society.

Starting on October 16, viewers will be able to watch Long Shot. This rom-com stars Seth Rogen as an unemployed journalist, Fred Flarky, who reunites with his former babysitter, Charlotte Field, the U.S. Secretary of State, played by Charlize Theron. Charlotte hires Fred as her speechwriter for her run for the presidency, much to the dismay of her trusted advisers.

Then on October 17, viewers can stream Polite Society. This martial arts comedy film directed by Nida Manzoor focuses on a young British-Pakistani girl Ria Khan, who while chasing her aspirations to become a movie stuntwoman, tries to break off her older sister Lena’s marriage to a guy named Salim, who seems shady to her but everyone else.

Finally, on October 20, viewers can stream the anticipated third season of Upload. This science fiction comedy series stars Robbie Amell as Nathan Brown, a 27-year-old party boy and programmer, who after a premature death in a car accident, has his consciousness transported to a digital afterlife named Lakeview, where he soon starts bonding with his living handler Nora, a customer service representative who works for Lakeview’s office in Brooklyn.

The Other releases for Amazon Prime Video set to take place between October 16 and 22 include Bosch: Legacy Season 2, which can be viewed via Amazon Freevee, Sayen: La Ruta Saca, and Surrounded.
