Chainsaw Man Dub Release Date Set, Pochita Actor Revealed

Crunchyroll has announced the release date for the highly-anticipated English dub of Chainsaw Man, which premiered in Japanese with English subtitles last week.

Starting on Tuesday, October 25 at 3:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT, the English dub of Chainsaw Man will begin streaming on Crunchyroll, with new episodes being released weekly after that.

Also announced was the English voice talent for Pochita, Denji’s Chainsaw Demon companion. Pochita will be voiced by Lindsay Seidel, who you may recognize as Gabi from Attack on Titan or Nejire Hado from My Hero Academia.

The announced English cast so far is as follows:

  • Ryan Colt Levy as Denji
  • Suzie Yeung as Makima
  • Reagan Murdock as Aki
  • Sarah Wiedenheft as Power
  • Lindsay Seidel as Pochita

“Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita,” reads the official series synopsis. “One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as ‘Chainsaw Man’ — a man with a devil’s heart.”

Chainsaw Man was created by Tatsuki Fujimoto and was originally serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump between 2018 and 2020. Part 2 of the series began this past July, and is being published through Shueisha’s online Shonen Jump+ magazine.
