The Winchesters Premiere Release Date & Time on The CW

The Winchesters premiere is approaching.

It’s almost time for the official release of the Supernatural prequel series. The story will follow Dean and Sam Winchester’s parents, John Winchester and Mary Campbell, as they fight demons. Here is when to watch the first installment.

When to Watch The Winchesters Premiere

The CW set The Winchesters premiere release date at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11. Directed by Glen Winter and written by Robbie Thompson, the first episode is simply titled “Pilot.” The prequel will feature the return of Jensen Ackles as he reprises his role as Dean to serve as the show’s narrator. He, alongside actress and wife Danneel Ackles, are executive producing through their Chaos Machine banner as part of their overall deal with Warner Bros. Television. The show also stars Meg Donnelly, Drake Rodger, Bianca Kajlich, Demetria McKinney, Nida Khurshid, and Jojo Fleites.

“Before Sam and Dean, there was John and Mary,” reads the logline. “Told from the perspective of narrator Dean Winchester, The Winchesters is the epic, untold love story of how John met Mary, and how they put it all on the line to not only save their love but the entire world.”

Thompson wrote and executive produced the series. Winter serves as an executive producer and director. It is produced by Chaos Machine for Warner Bros. Television and CBS Studios.

Supernatural lasted for 15 seasons on The CW which ran from September 15, 2005, through November 19, 2020. It starred Ackles and Jared Padalecki in the respective leading roles of Dean and Sam.
