Thor’s Sunny Days Outfit in Marvel’s Avengers Gets Release Date

Last week, Crystal Dynamics unveiled some beachwear cosmetics for a handful of heroes in Marvel’s Avengers, with Black Widow’s releasing just after its official reveal. The team has now confirmed who’s up next to get their beach duds, as Thor’s Sunny Days Outfit will be made available in the game just in time for the dog days of summer.

Thor’s “costume” is nothing but a pair of swim trunks complete with an Asgardian-looking belt and bracelet combination, and a pair of sunglasses to ward off the sun. Thor’s outfit will be made available inside of Marvel’s Avengers marketplace tomorrow, August 4, 2022, with Iron Man’s outfit set to arrive sometime in the future. At this rate, it will likely release next week.

The inclusion of more beach-friendly outfits follow various leaks from Miller — an insider that is regularly correct when it comes to Marvel’s Avengers leaks — that have suggested the costumes would be coming to the game, alongside a variety of other summer-themed outfits. However, outside of Black Widow, Thor, and Iron Man, no other outfits have been shown off yet, so fans looking to dress up The Hulk or Captain America in swimsuits will have to wait for now.

Alongside the news of new Sunny Day outfits, the studio also announced that a brand new Shipment would be arriving tomorrow, and would include an MCU-inspired costume inside of it.

The latest Shipment to land in the game will feature Tony Stark’s Iron Man 3 costume, which sees the traditionally red costume overcome with more gold plating. The Shipment that contains various cosmetic items as well as the chance at the outfit itself will also arrive in the game on August 4 in the marketplace. This is also not the first time this costume has been in Shipments, as it was also featured in those crates in February and June.
