The new poster doesn’t show too much off but does feature the main cast of characters walking down a dark alley on what looks to be another rainy night in Gotham City. Alongside the new key art, an updated synopsis for the series was released, which also details what fans can expect from the new drama.

Check out the new key art for The CW’s Gotham Knights below:

“The one-hour drama takes place in the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder,” reads the new synopsis for the television series. “His rebellious adopted son forges an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they are all framed for killing the Caped Crusader. And as the city’s most wanted criminals, this renegade band of misfits must fight to clear their names. But in a Gotham with no Dark Knight to protect it, the city descends into the most dangerous it’s ever been. However, hope comes from the most unexpected of places as this team of mismatched fugitives will become its next generation of saviors known as the Gotham Knights.”

Gotham Knights will bring together the offspring of several of Batman’s biggest foes as a crime-fighting force operating in a city without its biggest protector. The CW has cast Fallon Smythe as Bluebird, Tyler DiChiara as her brother Cullen Row, Olivia Rose Keegan as Duela Dent, Navia Robinson as Carrie Kelley, Oscar Morgan as Turner Hayes, Misha Collins as Harvey Dent, and Anna Lore as Stephanie Brown.

The Gotham Knights comic also serves as the inspiration for an upcoming video game developed by WB Games Montréal. It will feature the same premise of a city without Batman but instead stars his regular band of sidekicks stepping up to the plate. Players can switch between Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Red Hood to take on the crime-filled streets. While Gotham Knights will premiere on TV in 2023, the video game is set to premiere on October 25, 2022.
