The Bob’s Burgers Movie Trailer Previews Mystery, Meat, and Mayhem

20th Century Studios has released the second The Bob’s Burgers Movie trailer for the long-delayed animated film, featuring the return of the original series’ voice cast including Kristen Schaal and H. Jon Benjamin. The 90-second video teases plenty of mystery, meat, and mayhem for fans of the show.

The musical comedy is slated to make its debut on May 27, 2022. Its current theatrical release will pit the film directly against a high-profile competitor in the form of Paramount Pictures’ long-awaited sequel Top Gun: Maverick.

The Bob’s Burgers Movie will feature the voices of Kristen Schaal as Louise, H. Jon Benjamin as Bob & Jimmy Pesto Jr., John Roberts as Linda, Dan Mintz as Tina, Eugene Mirman as Gene, Larry Murphy as Teddy, Zach Galifianakis as Felix, Kevin Kline as Calvin, and David Wain Courtney.

“The story begins when a ruptured water main creates an enormous sinkhole right in front of Bob’s Burgers, blocking the entrance indefinitely and ruining the Belchers’ plans for a successful summer,” reads the synopsis. “While Bob and Linda struggle to keep the business afloat, the kids try to solve a mystery that could save their family’s restaurant. As the dangers mount, these underdogs help each other find hope and fight to get back behind the counter, where they belong.”

The Bob’s Burgers Movie is an animated, big-screen, musical comedy-mystery-adventure, based on the long-running Emmy-winning series. It is directed by Bernard Derriman and creator Loren Bouchard from a screenplay written by Bouchard and Nora Smith. It is produced by Bouchard, Nora Smith, and Janelle Momary.
