Life Lessons With Uramichi Oniisan English Dub Arrives on Funimation

Funimation has announced an English dub for Life Lessons With Uramichi Oniisan, with the first episode hitting its streaming service today.

The slice-of-life comedy is based on a manga created by Gaku Kuze and focuses on a young gymnast who works on a children’s show. Here’s the synopsis of the first episode as well as the basis of the show, “Uramichi Omota is a gymnast Oniisan in a children’s show Together with Maman. One day, one of the kids asks him why he isn’t married and has no children even though he’s older than her dad.”

Funimation also announced the English voice cast for the show with Adam Gibbs (Chihayafuru, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU) playing the leading role of Uramichi. They’re joined by Ray Chase (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, Mob Psycho 100) as Usahara, Howard Wang (SK8 the Infinity, Gamers!) as Kumatani, Brandon McInnis (My Hero Academia, Dr. STONE) as Iketeru, and Jessica Calvello (Attack on Titan, Listeners) as Utano.

New episodes of Life Lessons With Uramichi Oniisan will be released weekly as part of Funimation’s Summer 2021 anime lineup.
