In a blog post over on Call of Duty’s website, the company announced that a limited-time Alpha would be taking place from August 27 at 10 a.m. PT and lasting until August 29 at 10 a.m. PT. Better yet, every single PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owner will be able to participate in the alpha and will get the chance to check out the brand-new mode Champion Hill.

Developed by Sledgehammer Games, Call of Duty: Vanguard takes players back to the era of World War II, with the game set to highlight various special force soldiers as they face an emerging threat at the end of the war. According to a blog post when the game was announced, Vanguard’s campaign features four major theaters of war, an online Multiplayer mode that has 20 maps available at launch, and some major changes to the Warzone experience. The zombie experience will also be making its way into Vanguard, with a franchise-first crossover coming that continues the story and experience found in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
