Titans Season 3 Trailer: Batman Passes His Gotham Duties to the Team

HBO Max has finally released the official trailer for the upcoming third season of their hit DC series Titans, featuring the return titular superpowered team led by Brenton Thwaites’ Nightwing. The series is scheduled to make its return on Thursday, August 12 with the first three episodes of the season. 

The Titans Season 3 trailer, which you can check out in the player below, provides us a preview of the aftermath following Jason Todd’s death which leads the team to go to Gotham City. It also highlights how his death will affect Iain Glen’s Bruce Wayne who is seemingly giving up his Batman duties by passing the responsibility of being Gotham’s hero to Dick Grayson and the team. The video teases the arrival of Red Hood, who’s looking to be this season’s main antagonist.

Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find where they belong. In Season 3, circumstances draw our heroes to Gotham City, where they will reunite with old friends and face new threats.

The series stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Nightwing, Anna Diop as Kory Anders/Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth/Raven, Ryan Potter as Gar Logan/Beast Boy, Conor Leslie as Donna Troy/Wonder Girl, Curran Walters as Jason Todd/ Red Hood, Joshua Orpin as Conner Kent/Superboy, Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall/Hawk, and Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger/Dove.

Season 3 will also feature Damaris Lewis as Blackfire, Savannah Welch as Barbara Gordon, Vincent Kartheiser as Dr. Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow, and Jay Lycurgo as Tim Drake.

Based on the characters from DC, Titans was developed by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns & Greg Berlanti, with Johns, Berlanti, Greg Walker, and Sarah Schechter serving as executive producers. It is a production by Weed Road Pictures, Berlanti Productions, and Warner Bros. Television.

The first two seasons are currently available for streaming on HBO Max.
