June’s free PlayStation Plus games included Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown, Star Wars: Squadrons, and Operation: Tango. As with all other PS Plus titles, players will need an active subscription to continue playing the games after they are redeemed. Both Star Wars and Operation: Tango will be back to full price starting tomorrow, but Virtua Fighter will be available for an extra month.

The new Virtua Fighter 5 remaster sees enhanced graphics, new online features, and the beloved action from the original. “Battle through classic VF modes like “Arcade” or “Rank Match,” create your own custom online tournaments with up to 16 friends, or learn from the best with the new ‘Spectator Mode,'” says the description.”Master your fighting style to defeat all challengers in the Fifth World Fighting Tournament and become a Virtua Fighter legend!”

Meanwhile, Star Wars: Squadrons is a space combat game that is set after Return of the Jedi. Players “alternate perspectives between opposing factions as the New Republic fights for freedom and the Empire demands order.” Finally, Operation: Tango is a spy adventure that is played cooperatively. Players will have to work in tandem in order to succeed as they see different things and must communicate over voice chat.
