SNL Sets Andrew Garfield, Charlize Theron and Andy Samberg to Host

NBC announced today the final three hosts and music guests for the 39th season of “SNL.” On May 3, Andrew Garfield will make his hosting debut, following the domestic release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on May 2. Coldplay will make their fifth appearance as musical guest in advance of the release of their latest album, “Ghost Stories,” on May 19.

Charlize Theron will then take her second turn hosting on May 10. She stars alongside Seth MacFarlane in the upcoming western comedy, A Million Ways To Die in the West. The Black Keys will make their third musical guest appearance. The next album, “Turn Blue,” is out May 13th and features the single “Fever.”

On May 17, the Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning Andy Samberg returns to SNL as host. Samberg currently stars in the television series “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” for which he won a 2014 Golden Globe for his role. St. Vincent will make her musical guest debut. St. Vincent released her self-titled fourth album in February to her highest Billboard chart debut and career-best reviews.
