Brad Pitt Sets Cameo Role in Sandra Bullock-Led Lost City of D

Brad Pitt (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) has officially signed on for a cameo appearance in Paramount Pictures’ upcoming rom-com adventure Lost City of D which will be led by Channing Tatum and Sandra Bullock, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Pitt joining the film is the Oscar-winning actor’s way of returning the favor to Bullock, after she first agreed to a cameo role in David Leitch’s star-studded action film Bullet Train, which recently wrapped up its production.

Production on Lost City of D is expected to start early this summer in the Dominican Republic and is currently scheduled to make its debut on April 15, 2022, which puts it against Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation’s newest animated comedy film The Bad Guys.

Lost City of D follows a reclusive romance novelist who was sure nothing could be worse than getting stuck on a book tour with her cover model, until a kidnapping attempt sweeps them both into a cutthroat jungle adventure, proving life can be so much stranger, and more romantic, than any of her paperback fictions.

The film stars Sandra Bullock (Miss Congeniality, The Proposal, Ocean’s 8), Channing Tatum (Step Up, 21 Jump Street), Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter films, Guns Akimbo), Patti Harrison (A Simple Favor, Raya and the Last Dragon) and Da’Vine Joy Randolph (High Fidelity, Dolemite Is My Name).
