Also attached to executive produce the series is Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, who has been with the G.I. Joe franchise since serving as a producer on the first big screen adaptation with Channing Tatum in the central role and continuing with its Dwayne Johnson-fronted sequel and the forthcoming Henry Golding-starring spin-off. Paramount Television Studios is set to produce the series with eOne and Skydance Television.

Lady Jaye, a covert operations specialist part of the iconic team, first appeared in the 1984 animated series from Marvel Productions and Sunbow Productions and would subsequently make her way into the series’ toyline and introduced into the comics’ stories in 1985. Jaye would make her live-action debut in the 2013 sequel Retaliation portrayed by Adrianne Palicki (The Orville), though it’s currently unclear if she will reprise her role for the in-development series.
