Titans Season 3 Will Finally Introduce Barbara Gordon

Titans Season 3 will finally introduced Barbara Gordon

In a live-stream Q&A session on Facebook Live, Titans director and cinematographer Boris Mojovski had addressed the rumors about a new character that will be introduced in the upcoming third season of DC Universe’s superhero series. Mojovski has officially confirmed the rumor, revealing that fan-favorite DC character Barbara Gordon a.k.a Batgirl/Oracle will indeed be making her debut in the first episode of Titans Season 3. This revelation comes four months after the series had debuted their second season finale in November.

Mojovski had also teased that the series will be returning to Gotham. “The season should have, in a good way, many resemblances of the first season and some cool emotional stuff from the second season.”

In the comics, Barbara Gordon is known as the daughter of Gotham City police commissioner James Gordon. Created by artists William Dozier, Julius Schwartz and Carmine Infantino, she made her debut as Batgirl in 1967’s Detective Comics Issue No. 359. Later on, Batgirl started working together with Batman and fellow teen Robin/ Dick Grayson. However, after she was shot by The Joker in the spine, she temporarily retired as Batgirl and went on to assumed the identity of Oracle. Barbara is also famously known for having an on/off relationship with Dick Grayson, who later became Nightwing.
