The Hormone Monsters have returned in a new teaser trailer for Big Mouth season 2 released by Netflix. The adult animated series will return to Netflix on October 5. Check out the hilarious trailer in the player below!
The series follows a group of seventh graders as they deal with the pleasantries of growing up, including hormones self-discovery, and sex ed classes. John Mulaney, Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele, Fred Armisen, Jenny Slate and Jessi Klein return to lend theirs voices to the series, along with co-creator/executive producer Nick Kroll. Joining the cast for the second season will be Jane the Virgin‘s own Gina Rodriguez and David Thewlis of Harry Potter fame. Thewlis is expected to voice The Shame Wizard, The Hormone Monster’s mortal enemy, who is said to haunt the kids by shaming them.
The 10 episode animated series was created by Kroll, Andrew Goldberg (Family Guy) and screenwriter-directors Mark Levin & Jennifer Flackett (Little Manhattan, Nim’s Island) are all creators and executive producers on the series. Big Mouth is a Netflix production.
