Black Rose Anthology, a horror series written and directed entirely by women, is in the works at The CW, according to DeadlineBlack Rose Anthology will be produced by Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen’s Flower Films, former co-showrunner of MTV’s Scream: The TV Series Jill Blotevogel and CBS TV Studios.

The pilot for Black Rose Anthology will be written by Blotevogel and will reportedly “explore some of humanity’s deepest fears from a woman’s unique perspective.” There will be vignettes about “guilt, jealousy, repression, paranoia, insanity, sexual obsession and survival through a modern and distinctly feminine lens.”
