Matthew Modine is joining Showtime dramedy “Weeds” for at least 10 episodes.
He’ll play Sullivan, a real estate developer building a development adjacent to the series’ fictional town of Agrestic. The development is being funded by a church.
Modine’s recent TV credits include “Into the West” and “Bedford Diaries.” On the feature front, he appeared last year in Kettle of Fish and in 2005’s The Transporter 2.
“Weeds” will return for its third season this summer.
