Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Sets Amy Acker as Coulson’s Cellist

First mentioned in Marvel’s The Avengers during a discussion between Clark Gregg’s Agent Phil Coulson and Gwyneth Paltrow’s Pepper Potts, the Portland cellist is now set to appear on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” What’s more, TV Guide reports that she’ll be portrayed by Joss Whedon alum Amy Acker!

“Marvel¬ís Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz and Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons.

“Marvel¬ís Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” airs Tuesdays at 8 P.M. on ABC. Look for Acker to appear on the April 22 episode.
