It’s been five years since the original Hot Tub Time Machine and this weekend the gang is back on the big screen for more time travel hijinks alongside returning helmer Steve Pink and franchise newcomers Adam Scott (“Parks and Recreation,” The Secret Life of Walter Mitty) and Gillian Jacobs (“Community,” Life Partners).
Following the events of the first film, Lou (Rob Corddry), Jacob (Clark Duke) and Nick (Craig Robinson) are living the high life. They’ve been able to use their knowledge of the future to make things better for themselves personally, stealing inventions, pop songs and other ideas from people before they’ve even thought of them. There’s some comeuppance, however, when a mystery assailant attacks Lou at his mansion, causing the group to once again enter the steamy bubbles of the space-time continuum itself. This time, though, they’re headed to the future!
ComingSoon.net sat down with Corddry, Duke, Jacobs, Scott and Robinson to discuss exactly what went into bringing their science fiction farce to the big screen. Check it out in the player below!
Also featuring the return of Chevy Chase as the mysterious and potentially omniscient hot tub repairman, Hot Tub Time Machine 2 hits the big screen February 20.
