There’s been a bit of back and forth (see here) about who is telling the truth about Sony Pictures’ big screen adaptation of the video game Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, but The Fighter star Mark Wahlberg tells Moviehole he’s definitely attached:
Firstly, Wahlberg is indeed despite the incessant requests to see Nathan Fillion cast instead set to play Nathan Drake in the feature film version of Playstation game series Uncharted.
Theres suggestions Wahlbergs not a lock, even talk that the films nowhere near happening, but according to the actor its happening and sometime mid-year.
David ORussell is writing right now and hopes to direct, Wahlberg says. Its myself, Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro.
There’s no word yet on when the movie may hit theaters.
