A rare November snowfall serendipitously coincided with London’s world premiere of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in Leicester Square last night.
The event, which brought cast and crew from all three “Narnia” films, was also attended by Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Rare enough for Her Majesty to attend any film screening, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader marked the very first 3D film to receive a royal premiere. The Queen was said to have donned a specially made pair of 3D glasses marked with royal insignia.
ComingSoon.net was on hand on the chilly carpet and, though we’ll have full video interviews early next week, images from the event are now available in our gallery and you can view a highlight video below.
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader hits theaters domestically on December 10th in both 2D and 3D.
